I’m upgrading from 5x to 6x and I deleted the 5x cck link to map module folder and installed the 6x..not a replace. I updated the database. Now my content types will not show the previous cck link to map field as active until the modules is installed, but the module is installed. If I were creating a new field it does give the option to select that widget and create a new cck link to map field. I tried creating a new one and assigning the same field_name already in my database, but of course it tells me that the field name already exists. It acts like when I do the update.php the database is not being updated. This will be an easy fix for me to create a new field and start over…but I wanted you to know of the problem.
