Upcoming events blocks displays incorrectly

I'm using flexinode and in the upcoming events block the module displays:

"Eastway Summer Series 21/05/06(10 (Road Race) days)"

Rather than:

"Eastway Summer Series 21/05/06(Road Race)(10 days)"

As it did in the 4.6 version...

I've scratched my head at the code and can't see any reason for what gets displayed? Maybe it's a themeing problem? I dunno... For an example go here:

Bear in mind that site is only there for testing purposes and so you may get php errors and other odd behaviour while you're looking at it!
