No idea why, but somehow the forum mechanism gets in the way, and by the time you reach 'insert' in the og module, groups contains nothing....

you can use lots of other ways of posting to forums, but ...

Thanks Mark, appreciate the report. Can you please answer these questions so I can take a look?

* Are you saying that your Forum content type is an OG node type? IE, at admin/og/og the "Forum" content type is a group node or group post?

* Can you confirm if the issue goes away if this module (OG Mailhandler) is disabled?

* If not when this module is disabled, can you confirm if the issue goes away when OG is disabled?
