Can't subscribe to more than one channel at at time from the same site

1. created channel using story content type on hub.bryght.net
2. succesfully subscribed on sub.bryght.net
3. created another channel using blog content type on hub.bryght.net
4. when I try to subscribe I get this error message on hub.bryght.net:
"You are already subscribed to this channel."

I believe you should be able to subscribe to multiple channels from the same site
