Hello,

Is it at all possible to send private messages instead of the email notifications? I'd like to PM people when a new event is created rather than send them emails. Anyone know where I would start to look at this?

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
