Invoices are apparently useless to many folks without a date, so we end up getting a bunch of emailed requests for a full invoice.

I've attached a patch to add a date to the invoice template using the order-date-created variable.

It would be really nice to have this in Ubercart, by default (as an option would be fine, too, but I can't think of any reason having a date on the invoice would be considered a bad thing). There have been quite a few discussions in the forums and on the web about it, so it seems like it's a pretty common problem.

Patch works for me. This issue goes back two years (see http://www.ubercart.org/issue/3212/order_date_invoice_templates) and really ought to be fixed.

Hello, I am trying to apply your patch and am pretty new. I know how to open the file to modify but am unsure where to place the fix in the file. I am assuming line 135 but the 135, 6 threw me off. Also I don't have a .old customer template in my templates directory, only the admin and customer file. Hope that helps explain as briefly as possible. Can you offer any help? Thank you in advance.
