Description

Environment:
MacOSX Server
Running PHP 5.3 and MySQL5
Drupal 6.14

I recently upgraded form PHP 5.2 to 5.3 and updated the LDAP module. After I upgraded the LDAP authentication stopped working. I was getting the standard "Sorry, unrecognized username or password" error on login.

I went to the settings page to test the connection and it gave the error"Authentication with the LDAP server failed."

Prior to upgrading PHP and the LDAP module authentication was working fine.

I would appreciate any insight on this issue, it is critical I get this resolved.

Is anyone running the LDAP module with PHP 5.3? Has anyone experienced this kind of trouble?

After, switching back to version 6.x-1.0-beta1 I was able to get LDAP working again, I would check the beta2 release, as it may not be stable.
