I just noticed that when drupal is set up so that admins create accounts users do not recieve email notification this would be a nice feature (Is it there already) to be included

If the user has access to create there own accounts they automatically recieve an email - can this feature of admin notification be included

When you create a new account you can mark the "notify user..." so the user receives an email with the details of the new account.
You must make this selection upon creating the new acount.

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid anwsers.

Hey there,

Actually I'm rather new to Drupal but it seems to fulfill everything I need.

Except for this one thing:
I know that its possible to configure Drupal in that way that only admins are allowed to create user accounts. But as I run a site for students I need to create almost 200 accounts each time a new term starts. Does anyone know if it's possible to have a form where you can create many accounts at once and automatically send an e-mail to all the new accounts including each persons username & password?
If this isn't possible ... what steps will I have to take to make it possible by myself (I'm rather familiar with PHP, MySQL etc.)??

Best regards and thanks for your help!
