hi

i know it is not a standard, but most sites and most browsers understand favicon.ico. it seems like a nice gadget to add the icons to the cload, the newsfeeds and other imported items from other sites. probably can be easy done.

old feature request. seems there are no takers. too bad. it seems like a nice option to let the theme have a small icon in front of a rdf newsfeed.

newsmonster does this too. i think it can be done:
1) look in the feed if a favicon or alike is present
2) look on the site for a http://foo.bar/favicon.ico
3) look on the index page of the website and search for the location link rel="icon" href="/location/favicon.ico"
