avpadernoThere is the Macedonian translation project, but the page has been unpublished (http://drupal.org/project/mk) because without releases (see http://drupal.org/node/537398).
Looking at http://drupalcode.org/viewvc/drupal/contributions/translations/mk/?pathr..., I see files for the translation of Drupal core strings in Macedonian; I think these files should be imported, when adding Macedonian to l.d.o.

blue5hadow commentedCould you please if you have some time to help me find links with explications how can i do it, or maybe you can tell me how to do it. Thanks

gábor hojtsyBozidar was working on this translation earlier (owner of that unpublished translation project): http://drupal.org/user/164238 Did you have any contact with him? He seem to have been out of touch with his d.o account recently, so he might not be available anymore.
gábor hojtsyI've sent him a contact email btw.

bobibobi commentedHello all
I'm here and available, just didn't have enough time to work much on drupal localization. The current state is that some strings, mainly with help content are untranslated.
However, idrum is welcome to contribute to the translation. I will contact him personally for any details he might need.
Best regards

gábor hojtsy@bobibobi the question is rather whether you would like to follow the pain in CVS (I've seen you posting questions before on that on the translators mailing list), or continue on localize.drupal.org.
bobibobi commented@Gábor Hojtsy: Well, seems that l.d.o is the way to go, and probably lot more easier than CVS. But the FAQ says that "... For now, someone should commit updated translations to these projects regularly", i.e. do a CVS commit from l.d.o. So I'm not quite sure about the workflow. Also, is there some kind of demo login on l.d.o where I can test things?
One more thing. I see here http://drupal.org/project/issues/mk that the macedonian translation has been assigned to argosmm. How did that happen and when?
Best regards

gábor hojtsy@bobibobi: you can join the test team and try to contribute there to test out stuff. On the link you've posted, the issues for the translation are listed. Any issue can be assigned to anyone, people can assign issues to themselves. This will of course not change the maintainership of the project itself.

gábor hojtsyLooks like requestor lost interest. Marking this postponed (vs closed) in the interest of someone else finding it later, and continuing our discussion.

gábor hojtsyLet me repeat that localize.drupal.org would welcome an active team to take this on.
OnlineSuccess commentedI already have some Macedonian translation. I do not have much time at the moment, but I would like to work on this translation.

gábor hojtsy@OnlineSuccess: happy to hear you are working on that. Do you have someone to work with or is it a "lone hero project"?
bobibobi commentedA lone hero... :)
I kind of lag at the moment, but will be on track translating D7 soon.
gábor hojtsyOk, so should we proceed with setting up the team on localize.drupal.org?
pavleb commented@Gábor Hojtsy: I can contribute too for Macedonian translation. We are starting a portal on Drupal 7, and we have several people already working on the interface translation. So please send me instruction how to proceed.
gábor hojtsyGreat, I've created the team at http://localize.drupal.org/languages/mk and made @pavleb the initial owner / admin. You can add any number of other admins and manage group level permissions of people. I've added Macedonian with this plural formula: nplurals=2; plural= n==1 || n%10==1 ? 0 : 1; Please let me know if it is not correct so I can fix it before any harm is done.
Please report issues as you find them! Your team members can now join and help import existing translations and work on more translations. Anybody can sign up for being a member of the team and they will be able to submit suggestions right away. The initial admin can change permissions of people signing up, widening their capabilities. See http://localize.drupal.org/node/616 for explanation on how. It is highly suggested to grant both moderation permissions to those who you also designate admins.
Welcome on board!
