dawehnerIts definitive "Search: Search Terms" what you want.
The name is a bit confusing, but it behaves like the default search box.
Toktik commentedOh, Thanks :))
But it confusing, it will be good to rename the name of filter, because beginners can't understand where is search by keywords filter. Or add in description about that. I spent 5 hours to find/fix this, but finally I write here.
dawehnerAny suggestions?
Toktik commentedYes, changing of filter name is good way. When reading term word, first thing is Taxonomy.
dawehnerBut to what name?
merlinofchaos commentedIn 3 years of Views, no one else has ever complained that they didn't understand that "Search terms" was the trick. I am not sure I agree that this needs to be changed.
Busman commentedWell that seems to have put the kabosh on this thread...
Toktik commentedmerlinofchaos, terms is misunderstuding, word terms reffers to taxonomy.
smzur22 commentedYeah, this is confusing. I tried it only cause there wasn't any other option that seemed likely.
Just to be constructive, here's some ideas for alternative names.
Search: Keyword
Search: Content
Search: Index

prhavile commentedits not much confusing as terms is something like words as well. so search: search terms is something like search keywords/words.
