hba CreditAttribution: hba commentedIs this really necessary when you can block anonymous entries and delete existing entries?

solipsist CreditAttribution: solipsist commentedYeah it is because people post spam and I'd rather not have their junk in my guestbook. This leaves me the option to approve posts, taking preventive action rather than mopping up the mess manually and always having to check the guestbook for new junk. An approval queue is much better from an admin's POV, I can sort things when I have the time, and not be at the mercy of spammers.

landrypm CreditAttribution: landrypm commentedI will second this request. I am not so concerned about spam but rather inappropriate
content being entered into the guestbook by anonymous users. I would also like to approve
anonymous guestbook entries before they are ever shown on the site.

JDSaward CreditAttribution: JDSaward commentedI have the guestbook module on a client site and agree that an approval queue would be a Very Good Thing.
