I'm working on it. Status: real soon now.

What doesn't work:
- upgrade path (nodewords.install) doesn't work yet (so don't use it on production site just yet)
- the settings page is not completely like I want it and some settinsg are not yet present until I find out how to do it with the new form api
- there is also something wrong with the taxonomy vocabulary/term form pages (layout only, it seems to work)

What should work (but not fully tested):
- editing meta tags on node, term and vocabularies
- outputting the meta tags

I'll keep you updated

Setting page now works although it doesn't look the same as in 4.6.

Next things to do:
- complete nodewords.install (upgrade from all earlier versions)
- extensive testing (maybe by writing some simpletests for each previously reported bug??)

Great job Robrecht!

Just installed nodewords cvs to work with 4.7 and everything seems to work seamlessly. Played a bit around with the global nodewords settings and the meta tags defined as node content and AFAICS the module is doing fine! Cool...

One thing: at the nodewords settings page, one can define global definitions for copyrights, keywords and description (teaser if empty); however there's no such field for abstract. Is it intended like that?

Many thanks!

Cheers,
Marc

Yes it is. I didn't see how anything could be filled in globally in ABSTRACT that would make sense for *all* pages. Also, unlike DESCRIPTION, there is no way to make an abstract automatically from the nodes text as far as I can see. With copyright and keywords it makes sense, but not for the other tags.

Unless you tell me otherwise of course :-)

No, it's not even an issue for me - as I do not intend to use the field; just noticed the difference in settings compared to the other fields that can be edited.

So no worries (:

The cvs version of nodewords should now be working correctly for 4.7, including the upgrade system, installation was never so easy!

Please check if things work as expected:
- upgrade from 4.6 to 4.7
- new installation in 4.7
- adding meta tags to nodes, terms and/or vocabularies
- etc...

I'm pretty confident that it works, but don't blame me if your data gets lost... backup first!!

I'll wait until Friday to release the 4.7 version. Please report any bugs before then (I'll do some more testing myself too).

Version 4.7 released. It will take some time before the tarball is available, but the module is currently branched for 4.7.

Next things to do:
- update the project page
- update documentation
- next couple of weeks: implement some features in CVS and backport them as needed to 4.7

Setting it as "fixed".

Title: 4.7 version » 4.7 version, looks good...

Just a followup to let you know, that I've successfully tested nodekeywords at http://www.oldrup.dk/drupal/nodekeywords - page w3c validates fine, and the meta tag analyzer at http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ is also happy. I agree that documentation could need update, and also that installation was very wasy....

- so, thumbs up for the nice work!
