Payflow Link is not part of the core ubercart gateways, so it would needs to be supported by that module:

Not sure if this gateway supports recurring payments, but if it does this feature feature belongs in this gateways issue queue.

Payflow Link does not seem to support recurring payments. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_payflow-recurring-billing-int... suggests you need Payflow Pro to create subscriptions without using the Paypal Manager interface, and I can't find any API documentation to suggest this is possible otherwise.

Well, I don't know, reading that page you linked to, and clicking on the Payflow Link link gets to a page that says that Recurring Billing is an add-on package for Payflow Link, and also is listed in the prices. I think things may have changed in the past year.

I've also been reading other documentation before coming across this issue that looks like recurring billing will work with both. I guess I would be appropriate to mark this as active then.
