I have a multisite setup using Domain Access. Running Drupal 6.14, Domain Access 6.x-2.0, Domain Taxonomy 6.x-1.0 rc1. and of course Advanced Forum 6.2 alpha 2.
I have 8 sites in total on localhost, but only 2 that im using to experiment with Forums and Advanced Forum. One is the primary domain, the other is 1 of the 7 affiliate domains.
Im running all sites on a single database with no table prefixing at all.
Now I had a problem whereby upon creating new forum containers and forums, they appeared across all sites, not just the site they were created through, in DA speak, thats all affiliates. I installed Domain Taxonomy to overcome this problem.
Right now though, if I create a new forum topic, under say agriculture on my affiliate site, it wont display under Agriculture at all. Ive created 7 topics under Agriculture as testers...none of them are listed in the agriculture forum view, although all are accessible through the last post column, and all show the correct breadcrumb. Now if I disable Advanced Forum, and surf to the agriculture forum manually, they are all displayed as topics under Drupals core forum module. In other words all is well with the world under the Drupals Core forum module.
So somehow this is a problem with Advanced Forum, and I have a sneaking suspicion, Domain Access. I say that because if I disable Domain Taxonomy, the problem persists. Obviously, im not keen to disable Domain Access, but id say there is conflict between these 2.
I really want to keep Advanced Forum, it has a bunch of features I need.

michelleThere's nothing special about the create topic process in AF as compared to core forum. The actual topic listing is done via Views so there may be some problem in there. Beyond that, I don't know enough about those other modules to even offer a guess. You might want to try in their queue or in the forums. I'll leave this open for a while in case anyone else has an idea.

Netbuddy commentedI never had views installed ;) I just installed it, and the topics are showing where they should now :) This is just in localhost and I had no need for it yet...would have installed it anyway though. Advanced Forum doesnt list views as a required module though...
