Hi -- we're looking for help in *possibly* migrating our PHP-based training (not "education") system to Drupal. Here are the following near-term tasks:
1. Going through our current system, with our help, until you understand its functionality
2. Evaluating:
a. what functionality we would gain (e.g., better authoring, community of users, theming...)
b. what we would lose in the migration if we only used basic Drupal and the most reliable modules
c. for everything that we would lose, how could we work around it or develop a module for (and we'd share that)
3. Reporting and communicating this, and helping us make a plan, including how the migration would be accomplished
Beyond those tasks, if we do decide to migrate the system, you would be at the front of the line for the job of helping us.
So you should be good at Drupal, knowledgeable about using it for training (not education, if you get the distinction) and all relevant modules, a good communicator, and aware of how to build an accessible training site.
