Hi. Currently, every new account created on my website is linked to its corresponding CiviCRM profile. I cannot find where to disable this. The "My account" space shouldn't be linked to a CiviCRM "contact record" for a certain user role.

I've defined a role in Drupal with no permission related to CiviCRM. I've removed 'access civicrm' permission for the user but the "view contact record" is still shown. I would like to stop this automatic creation of a "contact record" when a new user is created.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think this is out-of-scope for this module to fix. CiviCRM by design links all user accounts with a CiviCRM profile so that it can track contact information for them. If you need this not to happen, I suggest you make a post on the CiviCRM forums, or else contact the CiviCRM developers on irc://irc.freenode.net/civicrm.

Will close this issue shortly. (I just became maintainer of this module, and am doing maintenance fixes only. Previously it was abandoned.)
