Drupal and NNTP

I would love to have my forum readable over NNTP. Is there a module for drupal that provides an nntp interface to newsgroups, or an nntp server that can deliver drupal's forum to newsreaders?

if desired, and if no existing feature request exists, you should file a feature request ... this is non-trivial.

I'd like to see such a feature, but it currently does not exist. I know that there are hacks that allow you to read slashdot in your newsreader if that newsreader is gnus (www.gnus.org). Don't know if you could post, though.
But I think that this backend works over http nevertheless.
