Hello everyone,
I took over my friend's website and now everything is a mess. I deleted usernames through the PHPmyadmin interface and now I have this bad message on the homepage:
■warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /data/18/1/93/51/1745051/user/1885280/htdocs/sites/all/modules/cck/content.module on line 1270
repeated 10 times.
I tried to get back the usernames but it does not work.
If you could please share some ideas of why I got this message, this would help me greatly!
Thank you in advance,
Alexis
P.S.: I don't know which Drupal is being used

I don't know why, but I just have to say NEVER delete anything directly from the database unless you absolutely know what you are doing without a doubt. And always take a backup first, even if you do know what you are doing.
Your best bet is to talk to your hosting company - they may take backups for you. Many do every 24 hours or so. If you are lucky, they will be able to restore the database for you.
Contact me to contract me for D7 -> D10/11 migrations.
You can find out which Drupal
You can find out which Drupal if you go to ?q=admin and find "Status report" which (unless the admin theme has been forcefully and violently changed) in the very bottom left section.
I think you might be getting the message because there's a bunch of orphaned content looking for its user, if you delete users through drupal admin the user's content gets reassigned to the anonymous account, if you scrap them from the db however it would break stuff as you seem to have found out :)
