2 quick questions.
1) how possible it is for me to delete the source once file is converted? or at least the next cron job.
2) to only create 1 thumbnail for every video files converted.

zoo33 commentedThose are two options that could very well be implemented, probably at the field settings level.
With 1) we'd have to disable the "delete converted and reconvert" checkbox that is now visible on the node form, for nodes that don't have the original file.
Also I think we should generally recommend that the original is kept for future use. Who knows when you'll suddenly want to start using a new format or a new bitrate etc. If you have a lot of user generated videos this would be a big problem.

sadist commentedfirstly, sorry for not replying earlier. i'm stuck with other projects.
maybe, to keep the original files should be an option for the site administrator to set. it is good for normal corporate or personal websites but not a big movie community, which 1 single file might be at least 500mb?
so i hope that this feature will be implemented soon. :)

sadist commentedhi zoo..
are you still considering this request? thanks.

zoo33 commentedSorry for my late reply.
I would be glad to add that functionality if someone writes a good patch. I don't have any real incentive for doing it myself at the moment. I'm more likely to work on rethinking this module's architecture and how it deals with file fields.

sadist commentedthanks for the reply and help all these while. i'm definitely not a php programmer myself and especially with Drupal, which i'm still learning what is for what.
i consider myself to be just 'ok' with basic Php, and i'm struggling on learning to build my own drupal module.
i do hope there's some good souls out there to consider helping this. ;D
