I have just installed og forums (6.x-2.x-dev (2009-Nov-10)) and activated core forums (Drupal 6.14).

I find it very confusing that forums and subforums appear to be created when adding terms to the Forums vocabulary and yet not terms appear in the Forms dropdown.

I cleared the cache, i've run update, still no change. I'm looking at the forums through user 1.

Any suggestions?

Similarly, I'm not getting any of the group-based forums in the choose-a-forum dropdown my forum topic node creation form. I am getting a couple of non-group forums that were already there before og_forum was installed. I'm using forum 2.0. All of the group forums are listed in the forum taxonomy and on the forum page. But whether I'm logged in as a normal group user or user 1, these groups do not show in the forum/taxonomy dropdown. Group members can see their group's forums listed at the forum page as well. It's only the tax dropdown on topic creation where they are not visible.

Seems that the patch in http://drupal.org/node/580452 for this project fixed the bug for me. Sorry I didn't see that issue first.
