This is a really good module and I’m having the quite the time playing around with it. I’m trying to do something but have yet to find a way to property get it done. UGC sites are supposed to be simple to use with very little instructions so that everyone can use them properly. I like the video tag but most users won’t know what this means or may simply forget to place it in their created contents. They would just like to upload a video and hit submit and see their videos right then and there. How can I get something like this: a user uploads his video via Filefield CCK, gets his video in thumbnail form in full node view, and when any user clicks on that thumbnail, the Flash Player appears with his uploaded video running?

Check out the help that's included with the module. There's a section on "Automating the Display of Videos Using Your Theme". http://[YOURSITEHERE]/admin/help/flashvideo

I much prefer this module to the SWF Tools module because it’s so much easier to setup. What’s the purpose of a finished thumbnail when a user clicks on it but only sees a still image? Shouldn’t the finished thumbnail open a video upon click like what one would see in YouTube? What I’m trying to do is all UGC, not administrative, and as such, would like to see the most simplistic way users can upload a video and see that video in their created nodes. I also think that for what I’m trying to do, it’s redundant to even have a thumbnail(s) because I would only allow one video upload per node. Is there a way I can allow users to upload a video via FileField then get their videos in full view in a player like one would see with the video tag but without the video tag for the reason I mentioned in the initial posting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
