Hi Guys,

I have finished Tradehelper at last, it as been a long road but I got there in the end. Any comments will be taken on board from you guys as if it wasn't for you I would never have completed it.

It would have taken me months to learn PHP and SQL but with Drupal 5 weeks.........

I used the Waffles theme so thanks to you guys for what is a fantastic theme.

Drupal Rocks and so does Drupal.org

You have a good start and have a nice looking site. A few pictures would liven things up. A bit more color/contrast might be in order.

Also, make it clear what you want people to do when they get to your site. The home page is a bit busy and doesn't give the eye a proper trail to follow. I would eliminate at least one or two of the tabs (and probably put the links somewhere else) at the top and anything else that isn't essential or can properly be relegated to another page.

I don't know about UK laws, but in the US, I would strongly suggest consulting a lawyer about a site like that to make sure I was protecting myself against libel lawsuits. If you haven't incorporated the business, I would suggest it to protect your personal assets.

I undersand what you mean about making it clear what I want people to do whan thay arrive at the site , good point I will make a change later.

I am waiting to see a Lawyer about the proper wording for my terms and conditions, Privacy and Disclaimer as I understand I must get that right.

Nice site.

I'm curious though: What's the difference between your two login blocks (user login and trade login)?

Do they serve different purposes?

Hi MichaelBrown,

The 2 Blocks serve no difference really I believe it will just make the trades feel they have there own personal place. Plus Trades can only register through our Trade Membership procedure, as you can see I have removed the 'Create new account' from their block.
