I would like my views to show up only on certain types of content, e.g. OG group nodes?. How to do that?

dawehnerAdd the node relationship and add the content type. as filter.

merlinofchaos commentedPlease provide more information. What kinds of views, for example? Blocks? If they're blocks, then it's the same way you'd restrict any block to certain content types, which is documented elsewhere on drupal.org
Are you using views_attach module? If not, you might consider it.
