Node Picker appears to break Update.php page

On two separate drupal sites in development the Node Picker module is breaking the Update.php page. Noticed when going to update the modules at the end of development. The fieldset on the update page to select which module versions to update was unclickable. Firebug showed some script errors loading the page that referenced node picker module. Disabling the module made the problem go away.
