I've got a site interested in having one, unified login-register page. Visually, the page could be split down the middle with a login form on one side and register form on the other (though of course this could be themed however). Navigationally, this page would completely replace the existing login and register pages brought to you by the user and logintoboggan modules.

Has anyone contemplated such a page? Doesn't seem too easy to implement without patching user and logintoboggan modules.

i would consider applying a patch that added this, but probably as an optional feature. i have no plans to code it myself, though...
