I have a relationship type IM friends, but I cannot find where to add a relationship request. I have checked all the permissions and I have grant view permission to related user, can have relationships, and mantain own relationships, but nothing? I have no idea. Could someone please help my frustration! Thanks in advance

Hi I seemed to have fixed this issue, however the links of the user relationships that I have created seem to be not active. They show up on the profile but you cannot click on them and go anywhere. If you right click and say open link in new page it opens the page. How do I fix the problem. I have had a look in the relevant author pane file, but do not understand ??

It appears your theme is interfering with the AJAX popup that should open when you click the links. You can disable the AJAX popup in the Settings tab under Admin->User management->Relationships.

There is no option in the settings just Ajax popup positioning with options >Elaborations css position, left css and top css?

Sorry I am a little slow. I don't understand. What is RC3 - where is RC3? How do I find the settings to disable.......I am new to drupal

Sorry, I meant downloading the current RC3 release: http://drupal.org/node/636388. I think I put it out shortly before you opened this issue. This release contains the option to turn off the AJAX popup.

Is there any other way to fix this with the current version. I am a little scared in case I upset anything. Can I change anything in the code?

I would not worry so much, it's not a risky update. You can always take a backup of your database before updating. And roll back if you ever need to. In any case, there were reports that deleting user_relationships_ui.js from the mode removed the AJAX functionality completely. I could not guarantee there won't be side-effects, though.
