This might be a stupid question, but I was trying to change the title of the Featured Articles (Homepage Left Column) from "Latest Headlines" to something else. I guess it has to be done from Views, but couldn't find where to change. Any clue would be appreciated.

It's actually in the template. In your openpublish theme, edit the file views-view-unformatted-articles-block-2.tpl.php.
