Not sure if this is the same issue as #553926: TinyMCE disappears when enabling this plugin. I've just installed 1.5 and enabled according to the instructions. In FireFox, the button shows up, but it doesn't do anything - it looks like it just returns 'Javascript:;'. In IE, TinyMCE just doesn't show up at all. I did try 1.4 with the same results as well, so it is very possible that there is something in my configuration doing it. I'm installed using English by default.

I did try disabling and re-enabling the module, but that didn't change anything. Any ideas? I'm not sure how to track it down, especially since others seem to be using it successfully. Thanks!

I will have a look at this. The button works just like the link button. You have to select some text and then click the button. Maybe I should make that a bit clearer by makeing the button grayed out if no text is selected.

Ah, user error. When I select text, it does work in FF - very nice!

Title: Javascript is empty in FF and TinyMCE missing in IE » Suggestion to this user-issue.

(had to read this thread to get it working, but wow, is it ever simple and perfect! Thanks for such a great plugin!)

I think for the time being, the mouse-over text for the drupal logo button that triggers the page view pop-up, it should read "Highlight Text And Click Here to Link" or something to that effect.

I noticed the button, noticed the ;; link, noticed the mouse-over text, and didn't make the connection to highlight the text.

Fortunately, I am pleased that you must enter your own text, as sometimes the Title would be way too long. I was under the impression that this module would insert the page title as the link. But being able to link "Click Here" dialogue makes this the perfect solution to someone trying to get freelinking to work with a site that doesn't need that type of a linking system.

Thanks for the great module/addition to tiny mce.

will we see a CKeditor version in the future?

Careless: Thank you for your kind word. Yes, the button needs some attention and love. Preferably the button should work just like the link button. It should be greyd out when no text selection is available. As to CKEditor support. Yes, it's in the workings. Probably we will rename this module to just "Node picker" and make it available to as many editors as possible.
