The Firefox spell check is disabled by default in FCKEditor.

The Firefox spellchecker being disabled by default is standard in FCKeditor, so it's not a bug in Wysiwyg module.
There is however not a way to enable it via the GUI, which would be part of what #313497: Allow configuration of advanced editor settings will fix. See comment #30 for a temporary workaround.
