I'm setting up category and liking it so far...
I have a couple questions:
1. I'm having trouble with the menu options.
I want my first tier of Containers (those with parent = root) to appear in the main navigation menu.
In addition I want to fully enable the breadcrumb trail.
But I don't want the child categories or individual posts to appear in the navigation menus.
I thought that the option I am supposed to set is enabled (but disable each item). However, it doesn't seem to be doing that. That option removes the menu item for the Container and includes it for the children. Is there something I'm missing about the way this works?
2. On the Greenash tutorial, it appears that I'm supposed to create two structures: one for blog posts, and one for stories. And then within those two containers, I'm supposed to create actual topic-related categories (like rock, hiphop, soul, electronica, etc.) Would it be possible to only create one topic hierarchy and then use views to show only the blog posts in that hierarchy, or only the stories, or only the events, etc. ?
