I have been using the module to replace some instances of text. However, as I do not want to replace all instances, I must search for the instances, and then using the results output, open each node and manually edit.

In addition to the usually required replace all option, can I suggest an option to selectively replace in only selected nodes. I suggest that there could be check boxes next to each each instance in the results, and an option to selectively replace only those checked instances.

Yes i need the same thing also. replacing only the selected nodes. it will be great if some body add this functionality.
