I have seemingly setup everything correctly. I chose xmpp api in settings. Under xmpp api setting, I have setup my xmpp server address and port. Yet, I don't see any attempt to connect.

I am running openfire on a separate machine from drupal.

Any help is appreciated.

I forgot to add that the im window pops up, but user is false@false.
