Popout module has no code and not maintained

There hasn't been any code submitted for this project since it's creation over a year ago. Will it be ok to unpublish this so it isn't included in project lists and recommendation blocks? If I don't hear back within two weeks I'll be abandoning the module as per the abandoned module project procedure.
