Hi everyone!
I wonder how to make a site not available to the public but still available to me for testing while setting up the site and filling it with content (or changing it). So, if possible, I'd like to be able to visit my site whereas others would get a message like "Site down for maintenance. Please try again later" or something like that.

go to the following link and replace www.yoursite.com with your site name.

http://www.yoursite.com/admin/settings/site-maintenance

make sure you know how to put the site back online

use http://example.com/?q=user to login
