Please help!!!
I've been following the tutorials on the dash media player website (http://www.tmtdigital.com/node/37) and trying to install the player on a website I'm working on(http://www.solo-guitar-arrangements.com/firsttune/).I am stuck on the create video after creating the content type video. When I choose create a new video it wont let me upload and video or even a thumbnail image. I get the error message that says:
An HTTP error 0 occurred.
/firsttune/filefield/ahah/video/field_video_thumb/0
Any ideas why I can't upload files?
Thanks for any help,
Larry

Hi Larry,
There are a ton of things that can generate this particular error - it can be frustrating. In one instance I tracked the issue down to an error in my settings.php file.
In this case, the first thing that comes to mind that may be worth checking is your PHP memory limit. I believe this error can pop-up on an upload field if your PHP memory limit is too low (for what is needed to process the upload).
Thanks so much for your
Thanks so much for your comment.
Justhost (the hosting company) set the memory at 64m and said that's as high as they'll go but it didn't help. What would need to be changed in the settings.php file. Or is there somewhere I can go for resources on how to resolve this?
Thanks again,
Larry

Hi Larry,
I don't think there's any one place to research this particular error - I've seen bunches of discussions and reasons for the error over time. And I don't know that it's a memory issue - that is one possible scenario I've encountered. And where your particular error message seems to be related to the thumbnail rather than the video - it seems like a possibility.
How big is the image you are uploading? If the issue is memory related and the hosting company has set a limit (Host Gator is another one that sets the limit at 64M), then changing settings won't increase beyond a hard limit they've set.
It's working now but I don't
It's working now but I don't really know what I did. I did have JustHost increase the memory to 64m but it didn't seem to help the other day and I even cleared my cache, but when I tested it a few minutes ago it worked fine. To answer you question about the size since I couldn't upload the video I had tried to upload a thumbnail image file which was only 14kb and it still wouldn't work but now it seems to work fine.
thanks for your help.

Yeah, that's not a large thumbnail - well, I'm glad it started working!
Issue: the Dash Media Player does not show on my content, why?
Please help!!!
I've been following the tutorials on the dash media player website (http://www.tmtdigital.com/node/37) and trying to install the player on a website I'm working on(http://www.cassidyclay.mobi).
Steps I've successfully completed so far:
created the content type video for the video upload and video thumbnail
Edit the content type template so the dash player will appear on node; code I used:
created the content with the video and thumbnail
Issue: the Dash Media Player does not show on my content within the Dash Media Player , like on the demo tutorial, not sure what to do next.
kind regards,
