I have noticed that when i choose an image to insert that i've uploaded once, it wil be uploaded for the 2nd time.
Is there a way that users can get an overview of which images they uploaded in the past.
Maybe an addon module?
This to prevent unnecessery uploads.

Insert module is not a solution for browsing. Take a look over in FileField Sources.
