I'm looking into a online payment solution for a charity organization and have of course stumbled upon Ubercart. However there's a few features I need that I can't seem to find a solution for, but hopefully you guys can help.

What I need is a way of attaching (automatically creating) products to other content types. Let's say I've got a 'project' content type. What I would like is to be able to have people give donations to this content type.

In other words - when someone creates a project he should be able to chose whether donations should be allowed and set the price for those donations. Also I need some way of associating the product with the new project node, so that I can create a "Donate Now" link (with Cart Links).

eCommerce has an elegant solution for this (A simple checkbox that says "Add new product types to nodes automatically" in the settings) - but is there any way of doing this with Ubercart? I need some of the other features that Ubercart has so I can't use eCommerce.

There are a variety of ways to do this, please do some research on ubercart.org to get detailed information. Start by looking at uc_node_checkout and uc_donation. General support questions are best asked on ubercart.org, as this issue queue is mainly for bug tracking.
