I read a few posts involving problems with the get meta description from teaser, but I couldn't find the answer to my problem.

When I edit the meta tags settings in my content types, the checkbox for "Use the node teaser if the description meta tag is not set" will not stay checked after I click Save.

I can turn off/on "Allow editing of meta tags" just fine.

Is there another setting I need to make it possible to set use node teaser by content type? Thanks. -j

I checked the last development snapshot, and I cannot reproduce this. Whenever I select that option, it stays selected when I click on the button Save.

You are not doing anything wrong; it is probably an issue present in the version you are using, and which has been already resolved. I think there is already a report about that, which is not marked as fixed (or it has been automatically closed).
