I have the user points module and a few others, but I want to encourage users to embed video with their content. They should earn a certain amount of points for each embedded video post. Is there a module to to this?

You can use User points Nodes
You can use User points Nodes and Comments for that i belive. Set embed video field to be required and on each that content type successful post give +points.
