I use Constant Contact for email marketing. Can anyone recommend a Drupal replacement for Constant Contact?

Thank you.

Check out http://drupal.org/project/notifications

I don't know everything CC does, but Notifications should allow you to send email messages to any or all of your users, with the message posted on your website at the same time. Combine this with Organic Groups and Subgroups and you can have different messages for different groups.

Good find and thanks for the recommendation. I've already uploaded the modulea and am working to strip out the node title of my newsletters.

Simplenews would be the drupal equivalent for email marketing. I also use (and prefer in most cases) mailchimp with the drupal mailchimp module. Together they meet our needs well for a reasonable price....

Thanks, Chad. Why do you need mailchimp in addition to Simplenews? Does Simplenews not get everything done by itself?

We don't use the two together - we just use simplenews on some sites (basically only if people don't want to pay for anything) and then have moved to using mailchimp on all others. The move to mailchimp is primarily to increase the ease of use (one less module basically), to better ensure our mail gets delivered (these companies are better than possibly getting yourself blacklisted), and the reporting and bounce control that mailchimp and others provide is far better than simplenews at this point. Which isn't to say anything bad about simplenews - which is a great and ambitious project. I think of simplenews for newsletters with less than 500 hundred people and commercial solutions for anything larger....

Got it. I may need to stick with using Constant Contact then. I have about 1800 email addresses on my list. And I don't need to get blacklisted either. Thanks for your help. Loring
