I have been a part of the Drupal community for just under a year and have initially taken this time to understand how Drupal works, the best practices and find my footing in general. I have already contributed to a few modules, including numerous patches in order to make the module in question work better not only standalone but also alongside others (e.g. http://drupal.org/node/621160).

I have also recently offered psynaptic to be a co-maintainer of the UC Paypoint module, to which they have agreed (http://drupal.org/node/418154). I am currently using this module on an upcoming website for a client. I am re-design/building http://www.elitehealthandfitness.co.uk which should hopefully be live soon (I'm sure you'll agree the current site is rather terrible! ;)). I am using Ubercart for the store, which pretty much IS the website itself. The client is using Paypoint as one of their payment methods, therefore UC Paypoint is a module I am using/wanting to improve as much as possible.

As you can see on the project page (http://drupal.org/project/uc_paypoint) the module is currently only available for Drupal 5... There is a definite need/want for this to also be available for Drupal 6 (http://drupal.org/node/418154) and I'm sure subsequent versions of Drupal, which I'd love to help out with.

In conclusion, my application for a CVS account is being made so that I may be able to help maintain the UC Paypoint module.
