I think this module can be used for building a basic catalog of products.

The galleryffic view is great for displaying a product detail page.

But before that one need to be able to have a grid with thumbnails of all products in a category

and before that a grid with thumbnails of the categories.

Is this possible? I know a lot of people need to have catalog but don't want a shopping cart yet. So any help here would be a tremendous help for many people in my opinion,

I have created a simple catalog (http://www.beorlatino.com/catalogo/1) using lots of different views, arguments, etc, and lots of modules:

- Views Galleryffic
- Custom breadcrumb
- ImageCache
- CCK
- Image field
- token
- Taxonomy Menu
- Taxonomy Menu Custom Path

etc..

I just want to know if there is a simple way to build a catalog, since this module is perfect for just that.

If this is not possible at the moment, could it also be a topic for a feature request that will be considered?

You can just use galleriffic for your views here: http://www.beorlatino.com/catalogo/1 and http://www.beorlatino.com/catalogo/1/Carteras the same as you did on the nodes.

I am really interested in your suggestion, Do you also suggest that all that can be done with only one view?

This can be done with one or multiple views. I'm not sure what your question is at this point so I am closing this ticket. Feel free to reopen but please have a specific question about this module.
