Drupal 6.14
Location 6.x-3.1-rc1
Content_type: Page
- Page Location settings:
- # of Locations: min-0; max-1
- Collection settings: all set to Allow
- Display settings:
Display location in teaser/full view both check marked.
Hide fields -Province name, Country name, Coordinates.
The link to "See map" appeared on a page when I had not entered any location data. I have been using Drupal and Location for several years and am confident that the Page settings were assigned properly.
- First edit attempt. The only Location field filled in was the default for Country. I changed the entry to Select a country. This removed the See Map link, but left the header label: Location.
- Second edit attempt. Check marked the box for Delete this location. This removed the header label: Location.
While I did resolve the results for this specific page, I need to find a more permanent solution. I will be turning the webmaster duties over to another volunteer in January, who will be a beginner with Drupal. I want everything in working order before handing off the system.
I ran a test just now before posting. This is occuring on every content_type that allows Location entries.
Appreciate any suggestions.

rooby commentedThis doesn't appear to be an issue any more in the current version.
Even if you have a default country set.
If you still have this problem with the newest version please reopen this issue.

bomarmonk commentedI am having this problem when entering only a phone number. I use locations for contact information, and sometimes this is for contacts who only have phone numbers and no address.
