When having Node Relationships enabled site messages do not get cleared from the $_SESSION when they are displayed. On each page load/refresh the messages persist, and keep adding on, which leads to quite a lot of messages until I manually empty the sesion table in the database.

hmm... I haven't seen this happening on our sites. If the problem is related to this module, I need a step by step method to reproduce the problem. Otherwise, it is not possible to guess what's going on.
