When using this module with Devel Generate, and you ask to delete existing content, the index gets repeatedly deleted, from node/1 to node/n, over and over again. I observed this happening 20+ times before Devel Generate ever got out of the "Initializing" phase of its Batch API.

Is devel actually calling node_delete()?
