Hi guys.
I read about this issue here in Drupal.org but the problem is solve to drupal 5.6 and I have drupal 6.14. I post a new story and show 10 or 15 reads in a few seconds :-(, the number of reads is wrong.

The problem start when I install the twitter module. Sorry but is not option to disable. Any idea to fix ?

it may help to link to this other issue you speak of for drupal 5.x # of reads are also effects by search bots and the like I believe.

I dont think so that the issue is about search bots, because I press the save button and I can see 15-20 views already.

I disable the Twitter Module, post a new story and the views start in 1.

Then it should likely be researched in a the issues queue of the module in question and a bug report or support request filed if there are no other reports.

Without a link to the code you claim doesn't work it's difficult to help
