Auto-filling of the "ICAO code" and "Real name for the selected place" fields doesn't work correctly

When I'm editing or creating a new location, the auto-filling of the "ICAO code" and "Real name" fields begins to work only when I select a place within some country, not when I select this country. So, if a country contains only one place, I cannot select it as this place is selected by default, and I have to fill these filelds manually. Likewise, when I need to create a location that comes first in some country's list, I have to select some other place first and then to select the place that I need.
