I have configured the "built in" calendar view and see that I have to use the URL .../calendar to see it. Is there a way to get the calendar(s) to display within one of my pages or stories (template or type)? Then I can add some text and other stuff on the page.

The calendar is provided by calendar module, but anyway.

For displaying on of my pages use blocks.
For additional texts use footer/header and or panels.
