If you try to go admin/settings/sphinx page after enabling the module, it throws an error:

sphinx.admin.inc.php not found

I found a file sphinx_admin.inc.php in modules folder and renamed it to: sphinx_admin.inc.php

It works after that.

This has being fixed in the repository, I plan to have several other issues fixed by the end of the weekend to have an stable version.
